High-Protein Bagels Recipe (No Yeast!)

Ingredients (Makes 4 Bagels):

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 scoop Nutrasumma Unflavored Pea Protein (approx. 10g)

2 teaspoons baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

1 cup plain Greek yogurt (full-fat or low-fat)

1 egg (for egg wash)

Optional toppings: sesame seeds, everything bagel seasoning, poppy seeds, sea salt flakes
Instructions:

Preheat the oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease it. -
Mix the dry ingredients:
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, protein powder, baking powder, and salt until well combined. -
Add the Greek yogurt:
Stir in the Greek yogurt and mix until a shaggy dough forms. Knead the dough with clean hands for 1–2 minutes until it’s smooth and slightly tacky (add a sprinkle of flour if it's too sticky). -
Shape the bagels:
Divide the dough into 4 equal parts. Roll each piece into a log and connect the ends to form a bagel shape. Place onto the prepared baking sheet. -
Egg wash and toppings:
Beat the egg and brush the tops of each bagel. Add any optional toppings now (like sesame or everything seasoning). -
Bake:
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the bagels feel firm when tapped. -
Cool and serve:
Let cool for at least 10 minutes. Enjoy warm, or slice and toast later! Great with cream cheese, avocado, egg, or your favorite sandwich fillings.
